Psychotherapy

I offer individual, couples, and family psychotherapy. I work independently with adolescents aged 12 and above, while younger children are engaged exclusively within the context of family therapy.

Sessions typically last 50 minutes, with longer sessions available upon request. The initial session is primarily informative—during this time, we'll explore your needs, expectations, and the challenges you're facing. Together, we'll define clear therapeutic goals and agree on the most suitable path forward.

My approach is rooted in solution-focused therapy, often referred to as "brief therapy." The aim is to support clients in becoming self-reliant and able to navigate life's challenges without ongoing therapeutic intervention. Each concern is unique and requires a personalized approach; some may be resolved in as few as three sessions, while others may need extended support.

I also provide long-term psychotherapy for clients managing mental health conditions who are in outpatient care with a psychiatrist.

Sessions are typically held every two weeks, though the frequency is tailored to each client's individual needs and may be adjusted over time as therapy progresses.

I also provide online sessions via Google Meet. For a meaningful experience, clients are encouraged to choose a quiet, private setting with a reliable internet connection.

Therapy sessions can also take place outdoors — in a park or forest, offering a calming, natural setting that may enhance the therapeutic experience.

Hypnotherapy

I draw on Ericksonian hypnotherapy, inspired by the pioneering work of American psychotherapist Milton H. Erickson. Unlike traditional hypnosis, this approach relies on indirect suggestions and is always tailored to the individual client's needs, preferences, and personal experiences.

Hypnosis induces an altered state of consciousness—often called a trance—similar to the deep relaxation of meditation or the intense focus you might experience when absorbed in an activity. Trance varies in depth and quality from person to person, which is why I design each session around your unique way of entering and using this state.

In hypnotherapy, we distinguish between the conscious and unconscious mind. By delivering carefully crafted suggestions, we engage the unconscious to initiate internal changes beyond deliberate control. Establishing trust is crucial, as any fear or doubt can disrupt this subtle, collaborative process.

Ericksonian hypnotherapy has a remarkably wide range of applications: resolving everyday dilemmas, supporting treatment for depression, addictions, phobias, or anxiety, and enhancing peak performance in athletes. It can also aid smoking cessation, weight management, pain relief, and address various psychosomatic concerns.
